Thank you for taking a moment to learn more about our farm…
Sauvie Island Organics has been selling high quality produce to Portland area restaurants since 1994. We grow over 50 different crops and have well over 200 unique varieties that provide the very best in taste, texture, aroma, vigor, and visual appeal. We are always researching new farming techniques, curating new varieties, and innovating processing and storage methods that ensure you’ll enjoy working with the best tasting and finest looking local produce you can find. From delicate spring greens, to sun-kissed summer heirloom tomatoes, to hulking fall pumpkins…during every season we are in the fields harvesting each crop at its very best. Freshness and quality are the essence of our work here on the farm, from seed to plate.
In addition to standard crops for each season, we enjoy growing limited amounts of specialty items that add unique variety to our restaurant offerings. Buyers can order from us on a weekly basis, set up a standing order, or receive a ‘CSA-style’ order where we design your purchase based on what’s seasonally abundant. We work with chefs, grocers, corporate campuses, food buying clubs, schools, caterers, and more. We value the direct relationships we have with our clients, and look forward to hearing from you.
If you are interested in purchasing produce direct from the farm email us at restaurants@sauvieislandorganics.com and we will sign you up to receive our weekly availability emails. Or call our Restaurant Coordinator at 503-312-0183.

We take orders, harvest, and deliver twice a week (on Wednesdays and Fridays) during our regular season, May-December. We are also excited to offer a limited amount of produce from January thru April on a weekly basis (on Wednesdays) depending on our storage crop inventory and field conditions. We sometimes have alternative options available including on-farm pickup, farmers market pickup, CSA drop site pickup–we do our best to accommodate specific delivery needs while balancing our own needs on the farm.
