Our CSA
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is an innovative way to connect consumer and grower, each making a commitment to the other. Join our CSA.
As a member, you purchase a share - 28 weeks of produce in advance. We, in turn, commit to growing a variety of vegetables for weekly delivery. From the end of May to the beginning of December you will be provided with freshly harvested produce from our fields. The bounty will vary from week to week and month to month depending on the season.
CSA Share Options
Family Share: Larger share designed for 2-3 vegetable loving adults or a family four. It's the same delicious share we've always been doing!
Half Share: Smaller size share designed for 1-2 adults or smaller households.
Salad Share: Are you a salad lover? Try the salad share and receive a 1/2 pound bag of mixed baby greens.
Pick-up Locations
We have over 15 different pick-up locations. Check the list to find the one that best suits your needs. All sites (except SE Ankeny and the Friendly House Community Center in NW) are box sites. At Box Sites members pick-up pre-packed bins. SE Ankeny & The Friendly House are bulk sites where members package their own shares and can intereact with a SIO farmer. When you fill out our Community Farm Agreement you will choose the site you want.

The Risk
Each growing season has its unique challenges. On occasion a crop may fail due to conditions beyond our control. As farmers, our goal is to provide you with abundance throughout the season, growing a diversity of produce to the best of our abilities.
An Open Invitation
We hope that throughout the season you will take the time to visit the farm. There will be several farm gatherings to bring us together as a community. A weekly blog will help to keep us in touch.
